A road trip to the north of Spain in june randomly gave us the opportunity to work for an agency based in Detroit and New York. A new división was being started by Global Hue Group in Manhattan, and they needed a website that could communicate the new agency values and philosophy. Our strategy team started working closely with the managers at NXT, the new agency being started.
First aproach came quick, and both companies agreed to use 5 cultural themes or trends that define today´s world. These 5 trends are #creativegood, #glocalism, #bettertogether, #metroculturalism and #newentrepreneurialage. They represent the core of NXT´s business based in understanding today´s society and inserting brands into culture.
By early september the first graphic design drafts were presented to our client, and the budget for the shooting in NY was approved. It was location time, so part of our team took a flight to Manhattan and helped with the filming preparations and actual shooting at Arlo & Esme in the East Village.
So once the videos chosen by NXT had been edited, digital production started at our studio in Madrid. The web was developed using AS3 + PHP technology, created with FlashDevelop and published using FlexSDK. A fully functional content management system was algo programmed using PHP to enable the mkt team at NXT to update their contents according to their specific needs.
