When TBWA\ Madrid called and started briefing us about a year-round project for McDonald´s that would involve monthly updates and a really rich visual experience intended to kids, we where more than happy.
Not only this site was challenging for us, but it was also our first of many projects for this agency and this world class client. To sum up, once our team started to work with the agency´s creative team, and the site started coming to life, we all agreed this was a nice chance to be part of a beautiful development.
The layout was so trend-oriented and well targeted that we inmediately understood our main contribution to the project was to create some state-of-the-art interactions and animations. And so we did, using not only as3 actionscript, but involving our motion graphics and after effects teams as well.
Mr Happy was online for a whole year, with regular product and promo updates, each of them having a distinctive layout that matched the current Happy Meal promo at McDonald´s restaurants. The fact that this site was intended for kids made it even more special to all of us.
