As a prestigious and global cosmetics company, Estée Lauder's social media strategy is a good example of good channel approach to their fans, no matter their age and nationality. And particularly brave, considering how shyly other premium brands normally deal with new advertising/techonolgy possibilities .
As a result of this, the spanish market saw this facebook app being launched to reinforce the positioning of their DayWear line of products.
Visitors can choose their favourite handbag and start filling it with their 10 must-carry objects. One of those ten must be DayWear. If the user fills the handbag successfully, they will enter a draw to win an exclusive pair of Tom Ford´s sunglasses.
We produced the application from scratch, following the designs sent by the creative team at TBWA agency in Madrid. Our team dealt with flash animations and interactions, backend app programming and facebook Api implementation, as well as a mini-Cms that was developed to help the brand´s community managers with their winners selection process.
